Our Story
Tribal Innovations was born from a simple, powerful truth: communities know what they need—they just haven’t always been given the tools, space, or support to build it.
Our founder, Demir Moore, spent over a decade working across workforce development, education, public systems, and grassroots organizing. Over the years, he saw the same patterns: nonprofits stretched thin, businesses disconnected from purpose, and systems that struggled to keep up with the complexity of people’s lives. But he also saw brilliance—resilience, creativity, and community wisdom that was too often overlooked.
That’s why Tribal Innovations was created—not to reinvent community work, but to realign it. To connect the dots between resources and real-world needs. To design programs that aren’t just innovative for the sake of innovation, but practical, bold, and community-led.
Though we are just beginning our operations, we bring with us years of lived experience, cross-sector knowledge, and a deep commitment to designing solutions with communities, not just for them.
